George Elliott Full was born in Charlottetown in 1893, of United Empire Loyalist parentage, and educated at West Kent School and Prince of Wales College.

Always interested in the Militia, he entered the Service in 1909, received his Commission in 1911 as a Lieutenant. During the Great War was on active service from 1914 to 1918. Serving at the Royal School of Infantry until the formation of the 105th. Battalion C.E.F., with which unit he proceeded overseas, ultimately serving in France with the 8th. Canadian Engineers.

At the present time is Officer Commanding the Prince Edward Island Light Horse and an Aide de camp to His Excellency Lord Willingdon, the Governor General of Canada.

Upon return from overseas entered into Commercial life as a partner in the firm of George E. Full and Son, which firm is closely associated with the Potato and Potato starch industry in this Province.

Was initiated, passed and raised in Masonry in St. Johns Lodge, No. 1, Charlottetown in 1916, and after serving in subordinate offices was elected and installed as Worshipful Master in 1923.

Is Grand Representative of the Grand Lodge of Kentucky, near this Grand Lodge.

In 1920 he was Exalted as a Royal Arch Mason in Alexandra Chapter, No. 11, Charlottetown, R. N. S., and served as Excellent King in 1926.

In Prince Edward Preceptory, No. 35 K. T., of Canada, he was received into the Order of Knights Templar and Knight of Malta in February 1922, and after serving various offices was elected Presiding Preceptor in 1928.

In Grand Lodge, A. F. & A. M., he was appointed Grand Marshal in 1924, Grand Lecturer in 1925. Elected Senior Grand Warden in 1927, Deputy Grand Master in 1928 and Grand Master in 1929.
