Most Worshipful Brother Kevin B. Crozier was born on May 7, 1972 to parents Roy and the late Beatrice (Bea, nee Ferguson) Crozier in Summerside, PEI

On December 31, 2009, he married his wife Dr. N. Elizabeth (Beth) Barbrick-Crozier and they welcomed their daughter, Kennedy Elizabeth Anne, on June 17, 2012, Father’s Day.
Kevin was most recently employed with the Canada Revenue Agency, but has been a stay-at-home Dad since the arrival of his daughter.
Kevin joined Hiram & Lebanon Lodge No.3 (H&L) in Summerside on February 10, 2004.

The following year, he joined both the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite (AASR) and the Ancient Arabic Order of the Mystic Shrine (Shriners).
Along with several other offices, Kevin is a past President of the Red Oak Shrine Club, has served as Most Wise Sovereign in AASR and has served as Worshipful Master of his Lodge (H&L)
He was installed as Grand Master at the 142nd Annual Communication of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Prince Edward Island in Charlottetown on June 10, 2017.

He is looking forward to a wonderful year as Grand Master of Masons of PEI which will include a trip to London, England to take part in the celebrations of the 300th Anniversary (Tercentenary) of the formation of the United Grand Lodge of England

MW Bro Edward Roland MacLaren, Grand Master

Grand Master 2016 -2017

Ed, as he is familiarly known to his many friends, was born on September 24, 1947, to the late MW Bro Douglas Dewar MacLaren, PGM,(1953-1954) and his wife Irma Wood in Montague where he received his formal education. He was one of five children- Doris Jenkins, Anna Hill (deceased) Donald and Stewart. In 1973 he married Joan Yerby who passed away in 1996. From this union were two children- Douglas (Dawn) and Heather (Keith) Mullen. In 1997 he married Irene Renaud and they share the joy of four grandchildren- Emily and Molly MacLaren and Roisin and Eamonn Mullen

Ed’s career spanned over 28 years with CIBC which included 14 moves over a twelve year period with the last post to Charlottetown in 1988 from which he retired in 2002. Ed and his wife Irene reside in Charlottetown. Ed has been a church organist since he was 14 and has played in many churches over the years and presently attends St. John’s Anglican Church, Milton.

Ed joined Saint Andrew’s Lodge No. 13 in Montague on April 7,1969, and the day after receiving his Master Mason Degree moved to Calgary for a year. However, he continued his Lodge affiliation in Calgary with a friend at his work place (Cominco) who took him to Lodge. On returning to PEI he served as Master of Saint Andrew’s Lodge in 1991 and and several years as Secretary of the Lodge until 2008 at the urging of the Late MW Bro Malcolm Patterson, PGM, I agreed to take a Grand Office, Addition Grand Steward. Then in 2009, he became Grand Secretary, position which he held until 2014 when he was elected Senior Grand Warden.

Other interests include music, travel and volunteering. Ed volunteered for 7 seven years on the local Board of Hospice Palliative Care Association for which he received the Life Membership Award in 2010, and then another 6 years on the National Board for which he was granted the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012. He also received his 32nd Degree in Scottish Rite in the Valley of Fredericton. Ed also belongs to the Order of the Eastern Star of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island and has served as Worthy Patron of Montague No. 69 Chapter and Crystal No.1 for several years and is presently Worthy Patron of Crystal Chapter No. 1. Ed has also served as Grand Organist for the Grand Chapter on many occasions. Ed is also an Honourary Member of the Grand Chapters of Quebec and Florida. For several years, he is has been the President of the Descendants of the Brudenell Pioneers. At present he has been involved in the launch for” Bikes for Books “program along with MW Bro Allison Coles, PGM. This program is intended to encourage students to read and thereby improve literacy in the school

He was installed as Grand Master at the 141st Annual Grand Lodge of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons  of Prince Edward Island June 11,2016

Donald Leary

MW Bro Donald Stewart Leary was born and raised in the Port Borden area of Prince Edward Island ( now know as Borden Carleton) He graduated in1982 from Kinkora High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration  degree form the University of Prince Edward Island. He began a career in retail management with Consumers Distributing in Charlottetown. In 1998 he was hired to manage the P.E.I. branch of Atlantic Wholesalers, remaining in that position until becoming the owner/operator of Cornwall Save Easy, now Leary’s Your Independent Grocer

MW Bro Leary has been married to his wife Juanita since 1988. They have one daughter, Desiree, and make their home in Cornwall. Don is active in his community and contributes to many local groups. He has been a member of Cornwall Lions Club and served over twenty years as a church treasurer. For more than two decades he has served on the Management Advisory Committee of Fitzroy Centre. He is also a member of the Charlottetown Executive Association and  The Charlottetown Club. Don contributes to many local organizations as a way of giving back to the community for their support of his business

MW Bro Leary is a member of Mount Moriah Lodge No.15 in Bedeque, which was also the home Lodge of his father and maternal grandfather. He also belongs to Prince of Wales Lodge No. 18 in Wheatley River. He is an active member of RAM Prince Edward Chapter in Kensington. Don is both humbled and proud to have served as Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Prince Edward Island.


Paul Montgomery

MW Bro Montgomery was born and raised in the Kensington area of PEI. He graduated from Kensington Intermediate Senior High School and Holland College in 1982 with a diploma in Electrical Wiring. After pursuing the Electrical Trade in Toronto and working in Alberta Oil Patch, he moved back to Prince Edward Island and began a career with Marine Atlantic. He then enjoyed a very successful sales career at MicroAge Computers Centers in Charlottetown and eventually made the move to The Island Telephone Company, currently Bell Aliant, in May of 2000 where he still works as an Account Executive.

MW Bro Montgomery has been married to his wife Michele since 1987, they reside on Park Corner and they have two sons, Spencer 22 and Alex 20. Paul is very active in his community with involvement in many organizations over the years. He has coached Minor Hockey for over 20 years, has served as Referee, Referee in Chief and Board Member of the Kensington and Area Minor Hockey Association, Minor Ball and Junior Achievement. He has chaired the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kidsake in Kensington, chaired the Provincial Boy Scouts Fall Apple Drive and Chaired Internal Corporate United Way Campaigns.

MW Bro Montgomery has been a member of Relay for Life teams, volunteered with East Coast Music Association and helps organizes annual fund raisers for Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada. He is the Immediate Past President of the New London Rural Fire Company, member of Red Oak Shrine Club and member of Prince Edward Lodge No.14 in Graham’s Road. Paul is very proud to have served as Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Prince Edward for the 2014/15 year.
