Most Worshipful Brother
Harland Page Found, PGM
Grand Lodge of
Prince Edward Island, A.F. & A.M.;
Grand Master 1939 – 1940

M.W. Brother Harlan P. Found was born at New London, P. E. Island on September 14th, 1872. He was educated in the public schools of the province and followed in his father s footsteps by conducting most successfully the milling and farming business so well known as “Found s Mills”. Taking advantage of an attractive offer, he sold this business and removed to Vancouver, B. C., where he conducted a general contracting business for a number of years. Returning to his native province in 1910, he established himself at Clifton, New London, P. E. L, where he has since been engaged in fox ranching and general farming.

M. W. Bro. Found received his Entered Apprentice degree in Prince Edward Lodge on March 1st, 1922, was passed to the Felloweraft on April 1st and raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason on May 3rd of the same year. He served as Worshipful Master of his lodge in 1934 and Grand Lodge immediately claimed his services as Senior Grand Steward the following year. A profound knowledge of Masonry combined with a willingness to serve in any capacity resulted in his progressive advancement to the Grand East in 1939.

That he may long be spared to contribute further to the Craft he loves so well is the fervent wish of the brethren of the jurisdiction.
