Grand Master
2023-2024Most Worshipful Brother Albert McAllister was born in Summerside, Prince Edward Island on April 19th, 1965
to the late Beverly McAllister and Carol Robblee. At the age of 4 months Albert’s father Beverly passed away in
a traumatic fire. Albert was an only child until he was the age of 9 when he then gained 4 beautiful stepsisters and later a half brother.
Albert graduated from Bluefield High School where he then attended Holland College where he graduated from
Welding. In 1989 he married his beautiful wife Darlene (Weeks) McAllister where they resided in North Tryon,
Prince Edward Island. They were blessed with 3 children Jocelyn, Spencer and Alexa who have blessed us
with 3 grandchildren Kenleigh, Brooklyn, Kade and a new baby coming in July.
Albert has been an employee of Canada Post for 29 years. He is also a Licenced Funeral Director and owns a
grass cutting company.
Albert began his Masonic journey in 2003 sponsored by Sterling Squarebriggs. He was initiated in Crapaud
Lodge No. 8 and continues to be a member. In the fall of 2021 he affiliated with Prince Edward Lodge No. 14.
During Albert’s years as a Grand Master he visited many Lodge meetings within the Maritimes and Canada.
He also traveled to 4 Lodge meetings in the United States of America (Connecticut, Lewiston Maine, New
Hampshire and Rhode Island). Albert attended all Masonic visitations of the late Brothers in Prince Edward
Island.
Albert's highlights were meeting many Grand Masters, past Grand Masters and especially meeting many
Brother’s of Prince Edward Island giving him the gift of many lifetime friendships. During Albert’s time of being Grand Master he got to watch his son Spencer become a Brother of Crapaud Lodge No.8. Albert was very
honored to receive the Honorary Past Grand Master Rank of Grand Lodge of New Brunswick this May.
Most Worshipful Brother Albert McAllister was deeply honored to have been installed as The Grand Master of
the Grand Lodge of Prince Edward Island at the 148th Annual Communication held on Saturday June 10th,
2023 in Charlottetown Prince Edward Island.
