MW Bro D. Paul Montgomery, PGM

MW Bro Montgomery was born and raised in the Kensington area of PEI. He graduated from Kensington Intermediate Senior High School and Holland College in 1982 with a diploma in Electrical Wiring. After pursuing the Electrical Trade in Toronto and working in Alberta Oil Patch, he moved back to Prince Edward Island and began a career with Marine Atlantic. He then enjoyed a very successful sales career at MicroAge Computers Centers in Charlottetown and eventually made the move to The Island Telephone Company, currently Bell Aliant, in May of 2000 where he still works as an Account Executive.

MW Bro Montgomery has been married to his wife Michele since 1987, they reside on Park Corner and they have two sons, Spencer 22 and Alex 20. Paul is very active in his community with involvement in many organizations over the years. He has coached Minor Hockey for over 20 years, has served as Referee, Referee in Chief and Board Member of the Kensington and Area Minor Hockey Association, Minor Ball and Junior Achievement. He has chaired the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kidsake in Kensington, chaired the Provincial Boy Scouts Fall Apple Drive and Chaired Internal Corporate United Way Campaigns.

MW Bro Montgomery has been a member of Relay for Life teams, volunteered with East Coast Music Association and helps organizes annual fund raisers for Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada. He is the Immediate Past President of the New London Rural Fire Company, member of Red Oak Shrine Club and member of Prince Edward Lodge No.14 in Graham’s Road. Paul is very proud to have served as Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Prince Edward for the 2014/15 year.
