MW Bro Donald Stewart Leary was born and raised in the Port Borden area of Prince Edward Island (now known as Borden Carleton). He graduated in1982 from Kinkora High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Prince Edward Island. He began a career in retail management with Consumers Distributing in Charlottetown. In 1998 Don was hired to manage the P.E.I. branch of Atlantic Wholesalers, remaining in that position until becoming the owner/operator of Cornwall Save Easy, now Leary’s Your Independent Grocer

MW Bro Leary has been married to his wife Juanita since 1988. They have one daughter, Desiree, and make their home in Cornwall. Don is active in his community and contributes to many local groups. He has been a member of Cornwall Lions Club and served over twenty years as a church treasurer. For more than two decades he has served on the Management Advisory Committee of Fitzroy Centre. He is also a member of the Charlottetown Executive Association and The Charlottetown Club. Don contributes to many local organizations as a way of giving back to the community for their support of his business

MW Bro Leary is a member of Mount Moriah Lodge No.15 in Bedeque, which was also the home Lodge of his father and maternal grandfather. He also belongs to Prince of Wales Lodge No. 18 in Wheatley River. He is an active member of RAM Prince Edward Chapter in Kensington. Don is both humbled and proud to have served as Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Prince Edward Island.
